摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable fingerprint images having improved contrast, in an imaging device of a fingerprint image. SOLUTION: In the imaging device of fingerprint image, a fingertip 1 having a fingerprint 11 to be an imaging object is considered as a specimen. The device is provided with a light source 3 irradiating a light 30, capable of transmitting through the specimen on the specimen, an imaging means 5 for imaging the light from the light source transmitting through the specimen and obtaining the fingerprint image, wherein the protruding parts of the fingerprint are dark and recessed parts are light, and an optical system 4 carrying out image formation of the light from the light source transmitting through the specimen on the imaging means. In addition the device is constituted such that the light from the light source 3 is irradiated on a plurality of regions 16 of the fingertip 1. In at least one of the plurality of regions, the irradiation center of the light from the light source 3 is located at a substantially center line in the width direction in a face where a nail 12 of the fingertip 1 exists and in the opposite side of a nail part with respect to a portion where the nail grows from, and a portion substantially other than the nail is irradiated.
