摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a license distribution method by which access concentration to a server can be averted. SOLUTION: A let-off device 101 is equipped with a license data input section 202 for receiving the input of license data for licensing reproduction of accumulated type contents linked to broadcasting contents, a mutiplexer 204 for mutiplexing the input license data to the broadcasting contents to produce multiplexed data, and an output section 206 for transmitting the multiplexed data produced to a content reproducing apparatus 102 by means of broadcasting. The content-reproducing apparatus 102 is equipped with a receiver 301 for receiving the multiplexed data, a multiplexer 302 for extracting the license data and the broadcasting content from the multiplexed data received, and a content-reproducing section 307 for reproducing the broadcasting content extracted to reproduce the obtained accumulated type contents, when the accumulated type contents are acquired whose reproduction permission is given by the license data. 摘要： Processing load on an executing device for conducting playback is high during the playback of contents since the executing device performs verification of the contents validity in parallel with the contents playback, and therefore the executing device has to be equipped with a highly efficient processor. The present invention reduces the processing load involved in the verification by using, for the verification, only a predetermined number of encrypted units selected randomly from multiple encrypted units constituting encrypted contents recorded on the DVD. In addition, the present invention is capable of improving the accuracy of detecting unauthorized contents to some extent by randomly selecting a predetermined number of encrypted units every time the verification is performed.
