SOLUTION: A vertical aspect ratio W/P which is one of factors, which affect outflow characteristics of a labyrinth weir, is checked by experiment, and under the condition that the length (l) of the labyrinth weir in a downstream direction is fixed, by making a vertical aspect ratio within the range of 2>W/P>=1.5, it is confirmed that outflow capability and surface intake effect can be improved in comparison with a conventional labyrinth weir (W/P is 2 or more). And under the condition that the length (l) of the weir in a downstream direction is fixed, by making end side ratio A/W (W is overflow width, A is end side length) within the range of 0.0765

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize water running in a channel wherein the amount of flow is small. SOLUTION: In a running water course 11, fixed gates 21, 21 are provided and a movable gate 20 is openably and closably provided in a gap between the fixed gates 21, 21 to block the running water course 11 when closed to block waterflow and to permit flow in the gap portion of the running water course 11 when open. A gate opening/closing mechanism 30 is connected to the movable gate 20. The gate opening/closing mechanism 30 comprises a weight 34 connected to a lever via a wire 33 wound on a pulley 32. When the amount of water retained in the upstream side reaches a predetermined opening level of water or higher, the movable gate 20 is turned over by hydraulic pressure applied to the movable gate 20 to open the water course to the gap portion, and is restored to a closed position by the weight 34 at or below a predetermined closing level of water which is lower than the opening level of water. A hydraulic turbine device 40 is provided downstream of the movable gate 20, and when the movable gate 20 is open, the device 40 moves up and down according to the level of water to convert the energy of the running water into motive power.
