摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbonization apparatus having improved heat-transfer to the carbonizing object to improve the carbonization efficiency by providing the main body of the carbonization apparatus with an apparatus for supplying hot gas produced by the combustion of generated stem and a rotary whirl-up blade to press a carbonizing object against the heat-transfer surface. SOLUTION: This carbonization apparatus is provided with a carbonization apparatus main body 1 for carbonizing a carbonizing object 3 and a hot-gas generator 40 to burn steam 23 generated by the carbonization and supply the generated hot gas 7 to the main body 1. The carbonization apparatus main body 1 is constructed of a carbonization chamber 4 composed of a jacket 22 to supply the hot gas 7 and a heat-transfer face 2 to transfer the heat of the hot gas 7 to the carbonizing object 3 and a rotary whirl-up blade 5 fixed to a rotary shaft 25 and pressing the carbonizing object 3 in the carbonization chamber 4 against the heat-transfer face 2. The rotary whirl-up blade 5 has a plurality of base blades 6 placed in a state to form a clearance U between the base blade 6 and the heat-transfer face 2 to enable the contact of the carbonizing object 3 with the heat-transfer face 2. The carbonizing object 3 can be carbonized in high efficiency by placing the object 3 on the base blade 6 and pressing against the heat-transfer face 2 by the centrifugal force P while whirling up the object 3.
