      SOLUTION: This panel for the free-access floor includes: the panel body 22 which includes a flat plate 4 and the plurality of ribs 26 integrally formed on the backside of the flat plate 4; and the reinforcing plate member 24 which is joined to the leading ends of the plurality of ribs 26. A protrusion 26b is formed at all or at either one of the leading ends of the plurality of ribs 26, so that the reinforcing plate member 24 and the protrusion 26b can be joined together with the frictional agitating joint means. This enables the shortening of the time for the joint with the frictional agitating joint means for joining the leading end of the rib of the panel body of the panel for the free-access floor and the reinforcing plate member together, and enables them to be surely joined together without generating the poor joint.

      SOLUTION: A connection hole 47, a hole 51, and a hole 53 are formed in an upper frame 45. A female screw is formed in the hole 53. An upper plate 63 is an aluminum rectangular-shaped member, and equipment is installed on the upper part of the upper plate. A conventional floor panel can be diverted as the upper plate 63. An adjustment member 59 is installed between the upper frame 45 and the upper plate 63. The adjustment member 59 is a member for adjusting the height of the upper plate 63. The adjustment member 59 is fixed in such a manner as to be screwed, by any margin of screwing, to the hole 53. Consequently, the adjustment member 59 can easily adjust the height by means of the margin of screwing of the bolt section 91. Namely, the adjustment member can adjust the height of the frame 1.

      SOLUTION: A plurality of struts 15 are installed on a lower plate 4 in the generally vertical direction. The strut 15 is a steel bar-like member with a hexagonal cross sectional shape. Both ends of the strut includes bolt parts 17a, 17b the diameters of which are smaller than those of the hexagonal cross sectional part. A lower frame 21 is installed above the struts 15. Holes 27 and holes 29 are formed in the lower frame 21. The holes 27 are connection parts with the struts 15. The upper bolt part 17b of the strut 15 extends through the hole 27 of the lower frame 21, and is fixed with a nut 31. Namely, the strut 15 is fixed to the lower frame 21, and the lower plate 4 and the lower frame 21 are joined to each other through the strut 15.

Ribs 7a and 7b are provided astride the backing portion 5 on the backside of the main body portion 3. Ends of the ribs 7a and 7b have surfaces almost flush with a top surface of a portion, overhanging from the main body portion 3, of the backing portion 5. The ribs 7a and 7b serve as portions to be joined to the backside of the flange of the beam. In addition, the rib 7a is provided near a joint (a long-side lateral surface of the main body portion 3) wherein the side plate 1 is joined to the column.
