    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance assembling capability of an abrasion resistant ring capable of being simply fitted by avoiding enhancement of production accuracy of an approach opening formed by cutting processing in a rod pipe and the abrasion resistant ring to be fitted to the approach opening.     • PURPOSE:To provide the subject net so designed that, when a fishing rod body made up in a retractable fashion is to be retracted for fish intake, the finger(s) is prevented from being accidentally sandwiched between the net body and the thickest rod body. CONSTITUTION:Either the tail of the thinnest rod body 1a fitted with the ball net body 2 or an end cap 10 at the tail of the thickest rod body 1n is provided with a projection 5 projected toward the other side. This projection 5 is deformedly designed in its peripheral direction. The other side is provided with a deformed recess groove 10e differing in design in its peripheral direction allowable of the projection 5 to be engaged therewith. The length of the thinnest rod body l1 is set so as to project its tip from the tip of the thickest rod body in such a non-retracted mode that the projection 5 comes into contact with the receiving face 10g around the recess groove 10e without being engaged with the groove 10e due to the deviation of the peripheral phase of the projection 5 relatively to the groove 10e.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod having a guide ring capable of avoiding heightening production accuracy of an introducing opening for introducing a line to a rod pipe and an abrasion resistant ring attached thereto, and further readily attached to the rod and readily assembled. SOLUTION: This fishing rod is used by introducing a line L from a winding reel through an introducing opening 11 formed in a rod pipe 3 to an opening at the tip top and taking out the line from the opening at the tip top. An entrance guide R is attached to the rod pipe 3 for introducing the line from the winding reel to the introducing opening 11 at the position near the introducing opening 11. A ring-like abrasion resistant ring 25 is arranged at the opening edge of the introducing opening 11. The entrance guide R is formed into a nearly M-shape in the side view, and a pushing part 7 is formed in the intermediate part thereof. The ring-like abrasion resistant ring 25 is pushed by the pushing part 7.
