Specifically, each of the compounds comprises biocompatible biodegradable nanopartiles and/or microparticles in which a pharmacologically active substance and d-alpha-tocopheryl polyethylene glycol 1000 succinate (vitamin E-TPGS) are filled. These compounds can be formed by vaporization/extraction treatment of a solvent or extraction treatment by supercritical CO 2 with the use of the above vitamin E-TPGS as an emulsifier.
