摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting type optical cable connection box in which the fusion splicing section of an optical cable and a connector connecting section are separately stored. SOLUTION: The connection box is provided with a first optical cable connection box 10 and a second optical cable connection box 12. The box 10 is provided with a lead-in section 30 which is used to lead in one of the optical cables to be fusion spliced, a lead-out section which is used to lead out the other optical cable and a fusion splicing section holding section which holds the optical fiber fusion splicing sections of both optical cables. The box 12 is provided with a introduction section which is used to introduce one of the optical cables to be connector spliced, a lead-out section 52 which is used to lead out the other optical cable, and a connector connection section holding section which holds the connector connecting sections of the both cables. A cable path 58 is provided outside the optical cable lead-in section of the box 12 in a projected manner. A connecting section to the box 10 is provided on the tip end section of the path 58 and the connecting section is connected to the optical cable lead-out section of the box 10. A plurality of drop core wire trays 10 for storing drawing wires and their junction parts are turnably and detachably attached to a tray attaching part 3, the attaching part 3 is fixed to a frame 2 provided in the closure 1, the trays 10 are obliquely arranged displaceably in a superposed state.
