    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the reverse tide by promptly cutting off an inverter from a distribution system at the time of cutting off the linkage, and to eliminate need for equipment increase and counter measures for a private power generation system used by respective consumers. SOLUTION: This protection device protects consumer equipment 200 which supplies power generated by the private power generation system 203 to a consumer load 201 connected to the distribution system through the inverter 202. This system comprises a voltage detector 101 for detecting the voltage of the distribution system, a judging part 104 for detecting that the consumer side equipment shifts to an individual operation at the time of cutting off the distribution system based on the power amount of the detected voltage, and a load input device 102 connected with the distribution system and for connecting load resistor R with the AC side of the inverter 202 by closing a make and break contact 103. It is thus possible to close the make and break contact 103 with a judged signal outputted from the judging part 104 when the consumer side equipment shifts to the individual operation, and connect the load resistor R with the AC side of the inverter 202 to stop operation by short-voltage relay function of the inverter 202.
