    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an escapement error at a temperature changing time furthermore than the case of a detent escapement having a conventional technology.SOLUTION: This detent escapement for a timepiece includes: an escape wheel 110; a balance 120 having a swing jewel 122 contactable with a tooth part of the escape wheel 110, and an unlocking jewel 124; and an operating lever part having a locking jewel 132 contactable with the tooth part of the escape wheel 110. The balance 120 includes: the swing jewel 122 contactable with the tooth part of the escape wheel 110, rotating normally in a separating direction from the escape wheel 110 by using rotational motion of the escape wheel 110, and rotating reversely from the maximum rotation angle; and the unlocking jewel 124 repeating contact and non-contact with the tip of the operating lever part in linkage with normal rotation and reverse rotation of the swing jewel 122, to thereby rotate the escape wheel 110 relative to each tooth. A timing of contact and non-contact with the tip of the operating lever part and the unlocking jewel 124 is related to the rate of a timepiece. A correction member 200 deforms the operating lever part corresponding to an engagement distance between the tip of the unlocking jewel 124 and a contact part of the operating lever part out of the unlocking jewel 124.
