    • PURPOSE:To make smooth a picture to be displayed in a monitor part and to prevent reception time from being increased when the number of picture elements is increased by producing the picture signals of respective intermediate levels between the picture elements. CONSTITUTION:Received picture data are read out from a memory part 1 by a control part 5. At such a time, the data of one picture element are read out twice, written alternatively into latch parts 6a and 6b, held and next sent to conversion parts 7a and 7b. The respective picture signals converted to analog signals are sent to an adder circuit parts 8 and the two picture signals are added while being deviated by the half picture element to one picture element. By adjusting this added signal to a 1/2 level in an adjusting part 9, the original picture signal appears at a place where the picture data of the same picture element are added other wise, the intermediate picture signal of the two picture elements appears at a place where the picture signals of a ceryain picture element and the next picture element are added. Accordingly, the half picture signal of one picture element becomes the picture signal of the intermediate level to the next picture and the number of the picture elements is made double as a whole.

    • PURPOSE:To accurately superimpose each picture of three primary colors so as to project it as the two-dimensional picture of full colors in a display device in which one-dimensional picture radiated as an optical signal is deflected to scan by a deflection mirror, and is projected as the two-dimensional picture of full colors. CONSTITUTION:An optical head 10 for a red picture, an optical head 20 for a green picture and an optical head 30 for a blue picture are driven by respective drivers 62, 63, and 64 based on picture data by one line. Light emitted from the respective optical heads 10, 20, and 30 irradiates the deflection mirror 50 through dichroic mirrors 41 and 42. The deflection mirror 50 vibrates at a specified angle and cycle, and the two-dimensional picture on one frame is projected by one stroke. The displacement angle of the deflection mirror 50 is detected by a detector 68, and the detected signal is inputted to a timing signal generating circuit 65. The circuit 65 outputs a timing signal to the respective drivers in the case the detector 68 detects a specified displacement angle set by each driver.
