摘要： PURPOSE:To survey an underground magnetic body distribution with high accuracy according to the position relation between the installation positions of solenoids and an observation point and a produced secondary magnetic field by producing a magnetic field under the ground by many solenoids arranged in a survey area at intervals. CONSTITUTION:A receiver 3 is placed on the ground surface 4 and the solenoids 3 are arranged in a pit. In another case, the receiver 3 is put in the pit and the solenoids 2 are arranged in another pit. Assuming many magnetic bodies 1 are distributed in an E shape in a two-dimensional plane, the two-dimensional space of 200mX200m thickness of the magnetic bodies 1 is divided into, for example, 8X8 cells and the magnetic susceptibility of each cell is found. When the receiver is placed on the ground surface 4, extraction accuracy is high inside an inverted triangle formed having the ground surface 4 as its base and height based upon the pit. Thus, the solenoids 2 as artificial magnetic field production sources are installed to increase the information amount, thereby measuring the distribution of the magnetic bodies 1 with high accuracy.
