    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a part feeder capable of conveying workpieces at higher speeds than ever before.SOLUTION: This part feeder includes a rail 1, plate springs 3 which support the rail, links 4 which restrict the reciprocating motion of the rail 1, and an electromagnet 10 serving as an excitation means. When an alternating current is applied to the electromagnet 10, a magnetic substance 11 suspended from the rail 1 reciprocates, and accordingly the rail 1 vibrates in the longitudinal direction. The bottom ends of the links 4 are attached to a foundation base 9 through second elastic bodies 8, and the bottom ends of the plate springs 3 and the electromagnet 10 are attached to an intermediate base 6. Since the plate springs 3 and the links 4 are stably held in the mutually isolated state so that the vibrations thereof do not affect each other, even if a high frequency current is applied to the electromagnet 10, the magnetic substance 11 accurately responds the current, and can excite the rail 1 at high speeds.
