摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accomplish a compact and secure lock mechanism by constructing the lock mechanism between each of a document cover and a printer housing, and a scanner housing with a few components. SOLUTION: A multi function unit 10 has a printer housing 14, a scanner housing 15 and a document cover 17. The scanner cover 15 includes a lock mechanism 50. A rotator 52 of the lock mechanism 50 has a first arm 67 extending to a side of the printer case 14 and a second arm 71 extending to a side of the document cover 17. When the document cover 17 is operated to open, the rotator 52 changes from a reference attitude to a first attitude and locks the scanner housing 15 and the printer housing 14. At such a time, the document cover 17 is not locked on the scanner housing 15. Furthermore, when the scanner housing 15 is operated to open, the rotator 52 changes from the reference attitude to a second attitude and locks the document cover 17 and the scanner housing 15.
