The production of musical sounds is controlled so that the musical sounds corresponding the sound production instruction group are produced in order of the sorting. Therefore the player, for example, only performs as if he plays a chord to produce musical sounds corresponding these pressed plural keys in order of prescribed pitches sequentially. The simulated strum by a stringed instrument (e.g. guitar) can be so easily realized.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to appropriately convert musical sound information in accordance with a designated code even if musical sound shown by the musical information has continuous pitch changes during its output.SOLUTION: A musical sound information processing device acquires musical sound information for one sound output subject to pitch conversion from accompaniment pattern data (S23). The device executes pitch conversion, with respect to the musical sound information for one sound output, on the basis of code information for acquiring code information designated by a user, a reference code associated with an accompaniment pattern and a pitch conversion rule (S27 to S29, S32 and S33). At the time of this pitch conversion, the device determines whether or not the musical sound shown by the acquired musical sound information has a pitch change from one first pitch to another second pitch during its output (S24). When the musical sound shown by the musical sound information has the pitch change during its output, the device individually and independently converts all the first and second pitches included in the pitch change into pitches so as to correspond to the code information (S27 to S29).
