    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motion analysis device and a motion analysis method capable of analyzing a deformation amount of a measurement object in motion with high accuracy.SOLUTION: The motion analysis device 1 includes two posture angle sensors 10a and 10b attached to the measurement object at locations distant from each other, a data acquisition section 201, a posture angle correction section 202, and a deformation amount calculation section 203. The data acquisition section 201 acquires data of a first posture angle and a second posture angle respectively detected by the posture angle sensors 10a, 10b. The posture angle correction section 202 corrects a difference between the first posture angle and the second posture angle after starting a motion of the measurement object in accordance with a difference between the first posture angle and the second posture angle before starting the motion of the measurement object. The deformation amount calculation section 203 calculates a deformation amount of the measurement object based on a difference between the first posture angle and the second posture angle corrected by the posture angle correction section 202.

    • PURPOSE:To measure accurate bending rupture strain without using any long- sized test-piece nor passing light by allowing an oscillation sensor to detect a sound or oscilltion generated when an optical fiber ruptures. CONSTITUTION:The opticak fiber 1 is bent and sandwiched between two parallel flat plates 2 and 2', and the flat plate 2' is moved by a motor 3 at a constant speed. The sound or oscillation that the optical fiber 1 generates when rupturing is detected by the oscillation sensor 8 fitted on a flank or the back surface of the flat plate 2 in contact and inputted to a switch circuit 12 through an amplifier 9, filter 10, and detector 11. The circuit 12 when receiving a necessary input owing to the rupture in the optical fiber 1 stops the motor 3 in the driving state afterward, and bending rupture strain is calculated from the currnt distance between the flat plates 2 and 2'. Frequency characteristics of the oscillation sensor 8 and filter 10 are selected to take a test even in a measuring chamber where there is no sound insulating facilities opecially without mulfunction.
