摘要： PURPOSE:To make it possible to detect the tension of a running thread at a high accuracy by reducing the damage of the thread through such an arrangement wherein a tension detecting element is supported by a block which circles on a circular orbit while maintaining a fixed posture. CONSTITUTION:A tensiometer 8 has a block 9 and a tension detecting element 10 and a dummy element 11 which are supported on the block 9. The block 9 is hanged between two pieces of coil spring 12, 13 and inside the block, an eccentric bearing 16 coupled to the shaft 15 of a motor 14 is installed. By this, as the motor 14 rotates, the block 9 circles on a circular orbit around the shaft 15 while maintaining a fixed posture. Its circling direction is the same as the running direction of a thread 1. By composing the detector like this, the damage of the thread 1 can be reduced and the tension of the running thread 1 can be detected at a high accuracy.
