    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect an infant against mischievous burn by providing a lock means for blocking push down operation of an operating button thereby disabling igniting operation upon unlocking. SOLUTION: A stopping step 14 for locking is formed on the inner side face of the casing 13 of a lighter body 11. The fixing member 121 of a high voltage generator 12 is inserted longitudinally into the casing 13. A movable member 122 projecting from the casing 13 is fixed, to the top thereof, with an operating button 16 and the locking foot piece 17 of a leaf spring located on the stopping step 14. An unlock member 19 having an upper part 191 being fitted to three side faces of the operating button 16, a lower part 192 being fitted to the inner side face of the casing and a vertical boundary of U-shaped cross-section serving as the supporting step 20 of the operating button 16 is fitted movably up and down to the casing 13 such that the movable member 122 can be unlocked by pushing the locking foot piece 17 into a gap 15 from the stopping step 14. The unlock member 19 and the operating button 16 are formed of resin. Engaging parts for restricting an engaging groove 20 and a stop protrusion 167 through elastic deformation on the operating button are provided on the inner and outer surfaces at the side end of them.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burner device capable of shortening temperature raising time of a heat pipe heated by a burner flame, retaining a high temperature and preventing a jet in a liquid state. SOLUTION: A combustion nozzle device 2 comprises a nozzle holder 21 having an injection nozzle 22 protruding from an opening end of a passage connected to one end of a heat pipe 26, a mixing cylinder 24 fitted to an outer circumference of one tip end of the nozzle holder so as to make an air opening in a side part face the injection nozzle and a flame port nozzle 25 mounted on a tip end of the mixing cylinder, and is secured within a cover member 3 so as to be located with a specified distance from a tip end of the burner main body 1. The heat pipe disposed between the combustion nozzle device and the cover member is extended to a burner main body side on an axis same as that of the nozzle holder, and designed to be connected with a fuel passage via a connection cylinder member 27 formed within the tip end of the burner main body, and a heat insulated space is formed between the nozzle device and the burner main body.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sustain a good firing state constantly by shortening the distance between a piezoelectric igniter and a tip nozzle in order to prevent current leak from a lead wire and unitizing both the piezoelectric igniter and the tip nozzle in order to facilitate assembling to the forward end part of a tubular body and disassembling therefrom thus making a discharge electrode displaceable. SOLUTION: A long tubular body is coupled with one end of a tubular grip in a fuel tank. An open/close operator and an ignition operator are provided on the side of the grip coupled with the tubular body. A piezoelectric igniter 9 is disposed in the forward end part of the tubular body while directing a movable member 9a downward and a tip nozzle 10 is disposed thereon while being connected electrically with the piezoelectric igniter 9. A fuel tube 16 is arranged across the tip nozzle 10 and the valve of the fuel tank. Forward end of an ignition operating rod 18 linked with the ignition operator is abutted against the movable member 9a. Tip cover 20 of the tip nozzle 13 is fixed to the forward end of the tubular body. A discharge electrode 21 is disposed oppositely to a discharge electrode 15 at the forward end of the nozzle on the inside of the tip cover 20.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the hardness of working a gripping part when titanium or titanium alloy is adopted as the material of a stick. SOLUTION: A tubular shank member 1 and a hollow grip member 2 are formed of titanium or titanium alloy separately. The grip member 2 is formed by fusing a pair of mating bodies press molded having the same form at the circumferential edges thereof to close both the end surfaces to thereby form a hollow space therein, and integrally forming an interconnection terminal 22 having a dia. to be fitted to an upper end opening of the shank member 1 through formation of a stepped part 21 at a bottom end of a grip part 2. In this way, the hollow member 2 integrated with the terminal 22 is formed. The terminal 22 is then pressure fitted in the upper end opening of the shank member 1 to the stepped part 21 and the shank member 1 is integrated with the grip member 2.
