    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the operating speed of a working system by constituting the working system in such a relatively simple constitution that first and second measuring systems having buffer functions are separately provided to a main carrying system. SOLUTION: Whenever a main carrying system A which intermittently carries electronic parts W in a fixed direction is stopped, the electronic parts are transferred to either one of first and second measuring systems B1 and B2 which are alternately and intermittently rotated from the system A' at a rate of one time to two cycles of the system A and, at the same time, electronic parts are transferred to the system A from the measuring system B1 or B2. During the stopping periods of the systems B1 and B2, the characteristics of the electronic parts are measured by switching a measuring instrument MD to the measuring system B1 or B2 after a probe PB is brought into contact with the leads Wa of the electric parts. Therefore, the measuring time can be nearly approximated to the cycle time of the carrying system A and the efficiency of the work can be improved.

Further, during the picking-up operation of the one chip T1 present in the center of the camera visual field m, the adjacent chip T2 to the chip T1 which precedes the chip T1 along the sensing direction is held in a waiting state, after the quality of the chip T2 is determined by performing its picture recognition in the camera visual field m and based on this precedent recognition data from the camera visual field m.

Then, the inclination of the long size chip 1 is detected in accordance with the recognition of those two points, and the other end of the long size chip 1 is imaged on the basis of the inclination of the long size chip 1 and recognized as a third point and its position is detected. Thus, by detecting the inclination of the long size chip, image pick-up and position detection of a desired long size chip can be carried out without mistaking an adjacent long size chip for it.

A rotary roller 11 being the second sticking member is lowered by a driving source 10, and the movable claw 15 of the first sticking member 9 is opened to the fixed claw 14 as the upper part of the turned up part (m) is pressed down by the rotary roller 11 to move back the first sticking member 9. The winding reel 3 is somewhat rotated in a direction shown by an arrow to make the rotary roller 11 press a part (n) extending from the turned up part (m) against the adhesive portion 16 for sticking a layer paper on the other side which is located inside and therefore not stuck till then.

    • PURPOSE: To perform a variety of operations on sheets of glass of various sizes, using a chucking table which conveys sheets of glass and the like by gripping their end faces, by providing fixed and moving chucks and a turning means by which the workpiece gripped is turned upside down. CONSTITUTION: The intervals from fixed chucks 5, 5' to moving chucks 6, 6' are adjusted to match the size of a sheet of glass 2, and movers 17, 18 are held in place by means of clamps 19, 20. Then each chuck is pointed upward, and the sheet of glass 2 is conveyed in between the claws 5b, 6b from above. In this condition, a stopper 22 is released, the moving chuck 6 is pressed toward the fixed chuck 5 by a pressure means 15 attached to a frame 3, and then the moving chuck 6' is pressed toward the fixed chuck 5' by another pressure means 15 attached to a frame 4. Thereafter, the nut 33 of a turning means 30 is moved downwards, the entire frames 3, 4 are inverted together with a ball spring 31, and then the required process is performed.

CONSTITUTION: The cassettes (a) for liquid crystals are first carried into a pre-washing dipping tank 2 and are immersed into the warm pure water 9 to make the impurities easily peelable at the time of using a device 1 for washing the cassettes for liquid crystals. While the cassettes (a) are chucked by a chucking mechanism 13, a cassette vertical moving mechanism 11 is actuated, the cassettes (a) are vertically moved in a high-pressure washing tank 3 and high-pressure pure water is blown from a spray nozzle 10, by which the impurities are removed. In succession, the cassettes (a) are carried into an ultrasonic washing tank 4 and are immersed into the pure water 17, by which the remaining impurities are peeled. After the cassettes (a) are washed by shower nozzles 19, the cassettes are carried into a spin drying tank 5 and are housed into a rotatable draining basket 22. A hot air blow 23 is blown to the cassettes to dry the cassettes.

    • PURPOSE: To uniformly apply paste without pattern inequality by a method wherein a generation pulse rate and a pulse number of a pulse generator for a driver of an XY table for a nozzle are changed and a transfer speed of the nozzle is equalized in straight line applying between separate optical two points. CONSTITUTION: There are provided pulse generators 6x, 6y for generating a specific pulse by an instruction of a CPU 5, and drivers 8x, 8y for drive- controlling an XY table 7 for transferring a nozzle 3 in the XY directions by this generation pulse. When drive-controlling the XY table 7, a transfer speed of the drivers 8x, 8y is decided by an objective constant speed value and an applying distance between separate optical two points. Based on this decision, a generation pulse rate and its pulse number are respectively given to the pulse generators 6x, 6y by the instruction of the CPU 5, and the transfer speed of the nozzle 3 is equalized in straight line applying between the separate optical two points. Thus, paste is uniformly applied without pattern inequality.
