    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receptacle type electrical contact of a fixed total length capable of having various spring forces in spite of use of a different plating material.
      SOLUTION: A receptacle type electrical contact 30 has asymmetric contact beams 46 facing to each other, between which a terminal reception part is partitioned. The asymmetric contact beams 46 facing to each other can have various widths to generate an appropriate spring force for a selected plating material with a total length of the receptacle type contact 30 kept the same total length as a contact manufactured by use of a different plating material. Although the receptacle type contact 30 allows a change of a spring force with its size limited, the receptacle type contact 30 hardly breaks during bending.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To directly connect an external device such as a battery to two printed circuit boards via an electric terminal, and to dispense with the additional terminal of an additional connector and a circuit trace between the printed circuit boards. SOLUTION: This electrical connector 2 mutually connects a device 16 such as a battery to at least two layered printed circuit boards 18, 20. The electrical connector 2 is equipped with an insulating housing having a cavity 8 and an electrical terminal attached to the cavity 8. The electrical terminal is equipped with a first connecting part 22 to be electrically and mechanically connected to the printed circuit board 18, a second connecting part having a contact part which can be elastically brought into contact with a contact pad 54 of the device 16, and a third connecting part 26 having a contact part 60 to be connected to the second printed circuit board 20. The first connecting part 22, the second connecting part and the third connecting part 26 are formed integrally.
