    • PURPOSE:To provide a weather strip with good assembling operability and enhanced holding forces for a panel and for a trim. CONSTITUTION:A weather strip 10 has a lip portion 18 that makes sliding contact with a door glass 14. A lower, horizontal wall 20 is extended from the lower end of the lip portion 18, and a molding portion 22 is formed above the lower horizontal wall 20, to form a trim holding portion. An external upright wall 34 is formed at the outside end of the lower horizontal wall 20 which extends in the cross direction of the vehicle, and the external upright wall 34 and an inner upright wall 36 together form a panel holding portion 38. The root portion of the lower horizontal wall 20 is hollowed 43 to provide a low- rigidity portion 40. A padding portion 46 is formed at the intersection of the lower horizontal wall 20 and the inner upright wall 36 to provide a high-rigidity portion 45.
