    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce inspection and maintenance according to reduced machines and reduce exposure to an operator in the meantime by supplying charge water or purge water from a common control rod driving water supplier to a control rod driving mechanism and a water pressure control unit of a plurality of atomic power plants. SOLUTION: A control rod driving water supplier comprises a condensate storage pool 1, a control rod driving water pump 2, a strainer 3, various valves, a pipe 4 and so on which are commonly used by two atomic power plants. Water introduced from the condensate storage pool 1 or a condensate system pipe 5a of a plant A and a condensate system pipe 5b of a plant B is raised in pressure by the control rod driving water pump 2, passes through the strainer 3, is adjusted in a flow rate by flow rate adjusters 6a, 6b, and then the water is supplied to control rod driving mechanisms 8a, 8b as purge water so that pile water may not mix into the mechanisms 8a, 8b from atomic pressure vessels 9a, 9b. After a scram, the water is supplied as charge water to water pressure control units 7a, 7b and a control rod driving mechanisms 4a, 4b.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a large capacity of water injection at a high delivery pressure by a boosting diffuser and also a supply steam flow amount can be set to an optimum value by respectively supplying center steam to a center steam nozzle, water to a water nozzle and peripheral steam to a steam/water mixing nozzle, in a casing. CONSTITUTION:A center steam nozzle 25 and a hollow water nozzle driving shaft 26 are concentrically arranged on an upper part in a tubular casing 24 to form a water nozzle 26a on a point end part of the shaft 26. A peripheral steam supply pipe 35 is mounted on a side surface of the casing 24 below a guide metal 34 interposed between an internal surface of the casing 24 and an external surface of the shaft 26, and a steam/water mixing nozzle 36 is mounted on the internal surface of the casing 24 downward from this supply pipe 35 so as to surround the water nozzle 26a. A throat 37 is mounted on a lower end of this nozzle 36, and a boosting diffuser 38 is mounted on a lower end of the throat 37 to connect a delivery pipe 54 to a lower end of the casing 24 and a supply water pipe 55, connected to the water nozzle 26a, to an upper part side surface of the casing 24.

    • PURPOSE:To thin the liquid film of the surface of a heat-transfer tube to contrive the improvement of condensation performance by providing a plurality of vertical heat-transfer tubes opened to connect to a pair of tube plates connected to the lower and upper ends of a vertical cylindrical drum set in a pool so as to quickly drop and remove condensed water. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of vertical heat-transfer tubes 24 are connected to a pair of tube plates connected to the lower and upper ends of a vertical cylindrical drum 23 set in a pool 12 and a plurality of legs so as to form a space among inlet tubing 3 connected to the upper part of the drum 23 or an upper tube plate 21, outlet tubing 7 connected to the lower part of the drum 23 or a lower tube plate 22, the bottom face of the pool 12 connected to the drum 23 and the tube plate 22. When a main steam tube connected to a reactor pressure vessel 2 is isolated, steam is allowed to flow through a tube 3 of a reactor emergency condenser 6a from the vessel 2 to introduce into the drum 23 to heat-exchange with the outside of a tube 24, to condense so as to return to the vessel 2 from a tube 7. At this time, because the tube 24 is vertically set, condensed water falls by gravity most quickly and has a shape to be removed therefrom, the liquid film formed on the surface of the tube 24 is thinned to obtain high condensation ability.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for disposing a diesel generator, etc., to be exclusively used by driving a pump by means of a turbine which is operated by reactor steam. CONSTITUTION:A sluice valve 2, an injection valve 5 and a regulating valve 8 are opened in the event of generation of such a situation that control rods cannot be inserted in a nuclear reactor 7. The steam generated in the reactor 7 is introduced through the valve 8 from a piping 9 to a turbine 10 to drive the turbine 10 and the pump 8 and is further introduced through a piping 11 to a pressure suppression pool 12 where the steam in condensed. On the other hand, the boric acid water stored in a boric acid water tank 1 is introduced through the sluice valve 2 into the pump 4 from a piping 3 and is driven by the pump 4 so as to be injected through the injection pipe 5 into the reactor 7 from a piping 6. Since the specified rotating speeds of the turbine 10 and the pump 4 are maintained constant at this time, the flow rate of the boric acid water to be injected is constant. The boric acid water is injected to the reactor 7 by such constitution without using a motor-driven pump and, therefore, the need for the emergency diesel generator, etc., is eliminated even in the state of the loss of a power supply and the improvement in reliability, etc., are attained.
