SOLUTION: In this shift lever device 10, a shift lever 12 is covered by a cover box 19 and a base plate 20 which are fitted to each other. At the [P] shift position where a shift lever locking mechanism is operated, a lock bar 45 is pressed and moved by a cam 44, pierced through a side wall of the base plate 20, and fitted to a side wall of the cover box 19 to substantially integrate both members. The cover box 19 and the base plate 20 are not unnecessarily opened, and further tampering can be prevented.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift lever device capable of saving a space, simplifying the device, reducing costs, and saving weight by being integrated with a key cylinder. SOLUTION: In this shift lever device 10, a shift lever 34 is supported by a lock body 20 storing a key cylinder 12, and a first cam 16 and second cam 18 are integrally provided with the key cylinder 12. A shift lock pin 26 and starter lock pin 30 are provided on the lock body 20. A first insertion hole 48 in which the shift lock pin 26 is inserted by the first cam 16, and a second insertion hole 50 and a third insertion hole in which the starter lock pin 30 is inserted by the second cam 18 are provided on a detent plate 42 fixed on the shift lever 34. Therefore, the shift lever device 10 is integrated with the key cylinder 12, so that a mounting space can saved, and a connecting parts between the shift lever 10 and the key cylinder 12 is not required to simplify the device, reduce costs, and save weight.

If an improper key is used, the two identification codes do not conform to each other, and therefore the immobilizer controller 5 maintains the state of the shift lever locked by a shift-lever lock solenoid 6.

The immobilizer ECU 16 compares the received immobilizer code and a preset immobilizer code, and the operation of a fuel injection device 13 is cut by the immobilizer ECU 16 and the engine cannot be operated when the received immobilizer code and the preset immobilizer code do not coincide as the result of the comparison of both codes or the immobilizer code is not received.
