    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide fine powders for a concrete composition where the reduction of fluidity variation with time and the increase of material separation resistance can be realized at a low cost without significant reexamination in concrete blending or preparing when used as a concrete admixture and to provide fresh concrete.
      SOLUTION: The fine powders for the concrete composition contain free calcium oxide of more than 0.0 mass% and less than 1.0 mass%. When the fine powders are used as the concrete admixture, the reduction of fluidity variation with time and the increase of material separation resistance can be realized at a low cost without significant reexamination in concrete blending or preparing.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soil improving method which is used for work for improving surface layers of various type of grounds, which can surely prevent the production of dust while possessing excellent constructibility, without installing large-sized equipment and apparatuses such as a cement tank, a water tank and a mixing and agitating apparatus, in soil improvement work, particularly, in an inhabitable area such as an urban area and a residentially concentrated area, and which can greatly suppress a variation in the amount of addition of a solidification material per ground unit volume.
      SOLUTION: Characteristically, this soil improving method comprises: a step of providing a plurality of parallel ditch sections and/or a plurality of hole section 12 in a ground surface by excavating the ground surface; a step of placing a composition of solidification-material slurry 14, prepared by mixing water and the solidification material containing a hydraulic component, into the plurality of ditch sections and/or the plurality of hole section 12; a step of mixing and agitating the composition of the solidification-material slurry 14 in the ditch sections and/or the hole sections with sediment in the ground; and a step of hardening a mixture of the sediment and the composition of the solidification-material slurry, which are mixed and agitated together, after leveling a surface of the mixture.
