    • PURPOSE:To improve the changing work efficiency by calculating automatically a revision number attending on the change of a program, storing the revision number in a control area together with the revision information, and simultaneously adding automatically the revision number to a changed row. CONSTITUTION:A program editing part 5 is activated and a line number 10 to be changed in a relevant program 8 is inputted together with the changed program data 9 equivalent to one line. Thus the program data on a designated row is changed into the input program data and a revision number 11 is written into the final position of the relevant row. If this change processing of the program data is identical with a first change processing related to the program change of this time, the present date, for example, is written in the free area of a control area 12 of the program 8 as the revision information 13. Then the revision number 11 is written in the final position of the information 13. When an end command for the change of the program data is inputted from an input device 4, a program output part 7 is activated to write the edited program 8 stored in an editing area into the same area of an original program file 1. Thus, the editing job efficiency is improved.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent unnecessary cut of a rolled stock and to improve the product quality and yield by cutting a top part of the stock by every prescribed length by use of a crop shear until a cut top end has a prescribed temp. in the case the stock remains in a coil box and cools. CONSTITUTION:A temp., sheet thickness, and sheet width of a rolled stock 2 delivered from a rough rolling mill 1 are measured for every length (l) and measured values are inputted to a memory 12. At arrival of the stock 2 at a crop shear 7 through a coil box 6, a rolled stock temp. in the inlet side of a finish rolling mill 9 is calculated and the temp. is sent to a pass schedule computing element 17. The element 17 calculates a pass schedule for every prescribed length (l) for the mill 9 by considering the above rolling temp. and measured values of sheet thickness and width stored in the memory 12 as actual values of the stock 2 in the inlet side of the mill 9. When a temp. of a top of the stock 2 cut by the shear 7 still is lower, cutting is continued for every prescribed length (l) until a cut top has a prescribed temp. Hence, an optimum pass schedule is obtained at a cut top and rolled product accuracy is improved.

    • PURPOSE:To exactly recognize a material by deciding whether the material exists or not in accordance with whether a ratio occupied in a prescribed time, of an ON time or an OFF time of a chattering signal of a material sensor is large or small. CONSTITUTION:When a material 2 which has been carried by a carrying device 1 reaches a detection range of a sensor 3, the sensor 3 generates a chattering signal for repeating ON and OFF. An ON time integrating device 4 integrates an ON time until an ON timer counts it up from a state variation of the time ON and OFF from the sensor 3, and devices the sum total of the ON time. This sum total is converted to a ratio occupied by the ON time in a timer value of a check timer by a maximum/minimum ON time learning device 9. The ON time ratio is checked by a prescribed conditional expression, with respect to a ratio occupied in a chattering timer value of the ON time which has been collected at a normal time of tracking in the past, and a decision of the material recognition is executed.
