CONSTITUTION: In a pressure sensor with the structure in which the peripheral edge of a diaphragm 18 is held between the peripheral edge of a block body 20 housed in a case 2, and the inner surface of the case 2, a ring form diaphragm deformation preventive spacer 16 (an intermediate member) having a sufficient thickness with the material same as the diaphragm 18 is provided between the peripheral edge of the diaphragm 18 and the block body 20. As a result, a stress applied to the diaphragm 18 following the deformation of the case 2 and the block body 20 resulting from an environmental temperature variation and the humidity is moderated by the spacer 16, and the deformation of the diaphragm 18 can be suppressed. Consequently, an excellent environment- resisting property can be obtained, as well as the temperature hysteresis can be improved.

A switch signal processing circuit 14 generates a working point detecting signal S30 based on a switch signal S20 supplied from the light receiving element 122 when the actuator 2 is actuated in a working direction A exceeding a second working position L2, and generates a reset point detecting signal S30 based on a switch signal S10 supplied from the light receiving element 102 when the actuator 2 is actuated in a reset direction and is rest and actuated to a first working position L1. Thereby, it is possible to take sufficent response difference between the working point and the reset point, and to stabilize the operating characteristic. Also, the working point and the reset point can be freely and arbitrarily set.

In response to that function, an on-off signal S2 is given from a 2nd switch section 102 to a 2nd input circuit 104. As a result, detection pulses S3, S5 are outputted from the 1st input circuit 103 while detection pulses S4, S6 are outputted from the 2nd input circuit 104. A timer circuit 105, according to the detection pulse 105, causes a timer action to start and resets the timer action according to the detection pulse S6. From a failure prediction circuit 106 on the other hand, only a switch signal S12 is outputted and an LED on one side 40 is lit to confirm a normal action of the switch.

CONSTITUTION:A second switch part 2 is reset later than a first switch part 1. When a contact of the second switch part 2 is of reset failure, a time-up signal S7 is given to a reset failure detector part 6c from a timer circuit 5, and a trouble predicting signal S10 is outputted. And, when an interval between contacts of the switch part 2 is short-circuited, a falling detection pulse S5 of the switch part 1 is given to a seal failure circuit part 6d, and a trouble predicting signal S11 is outputted. In addition, when a contact of the switch part 1 gets out of order, trouble predicting S9 is outputted from a contact failure detector part 6b in response to a faling detection pulse S6 given out of an input circuit 4. With this constitution, repairing of the switch is previously performable by a trouble predicting signal out of a trouble predicting detector 6.
