    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a positive prevention of boiling of hot water within an additional boiling heat exchanger by a method wherein the heat exchanger is arranged in such a way that it may be changed over between a hot water discharging state in which air is supplied into the heat exchanger for additional boiling to discharge hot water in the additional boiling heat exchanger into a bath tub and a stopped state in which supplying of air into the additional boiling heat exchanger is stopped. SOLUTION: There are provided a hot water feeding heat exchanger 4 in which water flowed from a water supplying passage 1 is heated and hot water after heating is supplied to a hot water feeding passage 3 provided with a hot water feeding plug 2 at its extremity end; and an additional boiling heat exchanger 6 for heating hot water in a bath tub 5 and performing an additional boiling. These hot water feeding heat exchanger 4 and additional boiling heat exchanger 6 are constructed to be heated by a single gas burner 7. Then, the changing-over operation is carried out by an air supplying means with an additional boiling circulation pump 24 or a drain valve or the like to set a hot water discharging state for supplying air into the additional boiling heat exchanger 6 to discharge hot water in the additional boiling heat exchanger 6 into the bath tub 5 and a stopped state in which supplying of air into the additional boiling heat exchanger 6 is stopped.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid supply of high temperature hot water upon starting of hot water supply even when mixing means such as a mixing valve has a trouble in the state where it is opened on the side of a hot water supply heat exchanger by controlling the mixing means and a bypass valve such that upon the starting of hot water supply water is supplied to a hot water supply passage through a bypass passage and an auxiliary bypass passage. SOLUTION: During waiting of hot water supply prior to hot water supply operation, a water proportional valve 18 on a hot water supply passage 9 is kept at an open state, and a solenoid valve 16 of an auxiliary bypass passage 14 is kept at an open state, and further an opening of a mixing valve 15 is kept to a previously set opening. To be concrete, a valve disk of the mixing valve 15 is kept at a predetermined position such that a mixing ratio represented by hot water amount/(hot water amount + water amount) becomes about 0.5. Thus, even when a hot water supply plug is opened in the state where high temperature hot water is existent in a heat transfer pipe 3 of a hot water supply heat exchanger 1, water is supplied to the hot water supply passage 9 through a bypass passage 13 and the auxiliary bypass passage 14 and hence high temperature hot water from the hot water supply cock is prevented from being discharged.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regulate combustion of a combustion burner for switching a sub- heat exchanger between conductive state and nonconductive state accurately by determining a sub-combustion depending on the conduction conditions for a liquid being heated by the sub-heat exchanger. SOLUTION: A hot water supply unit with additional burning function for bath comprises a burner 2 for burning fuel gas being supplied into a combustion chamber 1 on the inside of a casing CA, and two tin-tybe type heat exchangers N1, N2 for supplying or interrupting supply of hot water, i.e., the liquid being heated through the combustion burner 2, individually and freely. The fuel gas supply passage G to the combustion burner 2 is provided with a main gas solenoid valve 25, a main gas valve 27 for switching fuel gas supply state for the combustion burner 2, and a gas proportional valve 26 for regulating fuel gas supply. Heating conditions of the heat exchanger N1 for supplying hot water can be differentiated between a state where the heat exchangers N1, N2 are arranged in the gas channel and hot water flows through the heat exchanger N2 for additional burning and a state where the hot water flow is interrupted.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the generation of a thermal stress by uniformly heating the whole of heat-exchange parts when only some of a plurality of burners are caused to effect combustion, to suppress the increase of the temperature of unused hot water retained in the heat-exchanger part, and to prevent an adverse influence from being exercised on the heat-exchange part and other part. SOLUTION: A hot water supply device comprises a plurality of heat- exchange parts to heat hot water; and a single burner device 6 to heat a plurality of the heat-exchange parts. The burner device 6 comprises a plurality of burners 27a and 27b. When all of a plurality of the burners 27a and 27b are made to effect combustion, a plurality of the heat-exchange parts are positioned in the combustion gas passages of the burners 27a and 27b. Further, the number of the burners 27a and 27b, effecting combustion, is varied according to an input amount of the burner device 6. When only some of a plurality of the burners 27a and 27b are made to effect combustion, a part of the burners 27a are made to effect combustion in a state that the burners are dispersed based on a plurality of the burners 27a and 27b.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the promotion of local deterioration and improve durability by a method wherein combustion is effected by all combustion blocks upon high load combustion while the combustion is effected in only one combustion block upon low load combustion and the accumulated combustion time is unified as far as possible while increasing a turn down ratio. SOLUTION: A plurality of pieces of burners are divided into a plurality of combustion blocks 8, 9, 10 and respective combustion blocks 8, 9, 10 are provided with a fuel gas supplying passage, supplying fuel, gas individually, while respective fuel gas supplying passages are provided with an intermittent valve. A control means, controlling the operation of the intermittent valve, controls so as to burn all burners of all combustion blocks 8, 9, 10 upon high load combustion and controls so as to burn the burners of only one combustion block 8 upon low load combustion. Further, the control means controls so as to switch the operating block into the combustion blocks 8, 9 automatically upon low load combustion in the gas combustion device.
