    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam superheater with an excellent superheated steam- generating efficiency without taking an installation floor area and at low cost. SOLUTION: The steam superheater 11 operates as a water level of water 13 of an under-water zone in each tube body 12a is adjusted and a high-frequency current is supplied from a power source part 21 to an induction coil 15. When supplied with the high-frequency current, the induction coil 15 generates a high-frequency alternate magnetic field. An induction current flows in each tube body 12a by the alternate magnetic field, and each tube body 12a is heated for the whole length by Joule loss caused by the induction current. Thus, the water 13 of the under-water zone of the tube body 12a proceeds to a space zone above in a stage of steam not exceeding 100°C, and the steam is further heated while it passes the space zone to be outputted as super-heated steam exceeding 100°C.
