摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of cracks in castable refractories on the discharge side of a receiving port applied with the castable refractories by providing a slit for forming a crack initiation point to the specific section on the inside peripheral face of the castable refractories of said receiving port. CONSTITUTION:The receiving port 4 of a torpedo ladle car 1 is made into the approximately elliptical shape having the major axis in the transverse direction of the torpedo ladle car body and is applied with the castable refractories 3 on the inside peripheral face. The slit for forming the crack initiation point is provided to the section which exists between the minor axis and major axis of the ellipse from the inside peripheral face of the refractories 3 of the receiving port 4 and is not in contact with the molten iron discharged during tilting of the torpedo ladle car in the form of incising the refractories from the inside peripheral face thereof. For example, the inside peripheral face of the refractories 3 is provided with the slits 18 at 4 points thereof in the form of incising the same from the inside periphery. The generation of the cracks in the refractories 3 on the discharge side of the receiving port 4 is thereby surely prevented and the thickness of a castable lining is surely acted, by which a long life is obtd.

The refractory to be used can use the material to match the base material used at the repairing site. As the substance for hot forming the bond, tar pitch and the like, phenol resin and the like can be used. Further, as fluidity accelerator, ignition improver, the petroleum resin of C5 fraction polymer of naphtha cracked oil is used. The polymer is obtained with 1,3- pentadiene in the fraction as main material.
