    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flowmeter which can detect a leak in a gas supply passage on the downstream side of a flow-rate detection means, which removes a noise component and by which the used flow rate of a gas is integrated precisely.
      SOLUTION: The flow rate of the gas flowing in the gas supply passage is detected by the flow-rate detection means 11, and whether the flow rate detected by the means 11, a prescribed measurement reference value and a dead reference value are large or not is judged by a flow-rate judgment means 12. The dead reference value is set at the measurement reference value or less, and the flow rate at the measurement reference value or more is integrated by a flow-rate integration means 13 as the used flow rate. A leak judgment means 16 judges that the leak is generated in the gas supply passage on the downstream side of the means 11, when a period in which the flow rate of the gas is judged to be the fluid reference value or more by the means 12 is regarded as continuing, and when the period reaches a prescribed leak judgment period.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform precise leakage judgment of pipes, even if the judgment is performed in a condition when a floor heater or the like is operated approximately continuously for thirty days, and moreover in a condition where measured flow rate values obtained by measure ment are influenced by pressure variations from neighboring houses.
      SOLUTION: When a measured value of a flow rate variation during thirty seconds is larger than 2 1/h, in first judgment, leakage judgment is not performed. When the measured value is not larger than 2 1/h, it is judged that there are no leakages, if the average value of individual measured flow rate values during the thirty seconds is not larger than 1.5 1/h. When a measured value of a flow rate variation during five minutes is larger than 10 1/h, in second judgment, leakage judgment is not performed. When the measured value is not larger than 10 1/h, it is judged that there are no leakages if the average value of individual measured flow rate values during the five minutes in not larger than 1.5 1/h. When a measured value of a flow rate variation during one hour is larger than 38 1/h, in third judgment, leakage judgment is not performed. When the measured value is not larger than 38 1/h, it is judged that there are no leakages, if the average value of individual measured flow rate values during the one hour is not larger than 1.5 1/h. When leakage judgment is not performed continuously during a division of thirty days, it is reported that there is a leakage.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flowmeter whose power consumption is nearly identical in an environment in which a pressure pulsation is generated and in a case where the pressure pulsation is not generated. SOLUTION: In a momentary-flow-rate computing part 20b, a processing operation in which a mean value of a flow rate in each fetch cycle obtained by fetching a flow rate obtained from a flow-rate measuring part 4 in a prescribed fetch cycle in the prescribed number of times of a fetch operation is used as a momentary flow rate is regarded as one flow-rate measurement, and the flow-rate measurement is repeated intermittently in a measuring cycle as a prescribed time interval. In an integrated-flow- rate computing part 20c, a flow rate obtained by multiplying the momentary flow rate by the measuring cycle is regarded as an integrated flow rate in the measuring cycle. A pulsation decision part 20e monitors the existence of the pressure pulsation of a gas passing the measuring part 4 on the basis of an output of the measuring part 4. When the pressure pulsation is detected, the fetch cycle is made longer than that in its non-detection to such an extent that the pressure pulsation does not influence the momentary flow rate.
