    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure sufficiently the amount of hot water supplied through a hot water supply passage and thereby to improve the usability when hot water supply and reheating and conducted simultaneously. SOLUTION: This hot water supply equipment for a bath is provided with a heat exchanger 3 for water heating which heats water supplied through a water supply passage 1 by combustion of a burner 4 and supplies hot water from a hot water supply passage 2, a reheating passage 14 which is branched from and connected to the hot water supply passage 2 and supplies the hot water heated by the burner 4 into a bathtub 15, a hot water supply amount regulating means 11 which regulates the amount of the hot water supplied through the hot water supply passage 2, and a control means H which controls the combustion of the burner 4. The control means H is so constituted in the equipment that it controls the combustion of the burner and the operation of the hot water supply amount regulating means 11 so that the temperature of the hot water heated by the burner 4 be a combined reheating target temperature lower than a single reheating target temperature, so as to execute a process of controlling combustion for hot water supply and reheating in combination wherein the hot water is supplied through the hot water supply passage 2 and also supplied into the bathtub 15 through the reheating passage 14.

The control means H executes a heat reserving combustion control, to start the combustion of the burner 3 if set conditions for starting heat reserving combustion are satisfied during the stoppage of the passing of water to the heat exchanger 2 in a heat reserving combustion time zone set by time zone setting means 19 and 103, or to stop the combustion of the burner 3 if the set conditions for the stopping of heat reserving combustion is satisfied while restricting the frequency of executing the heat reserving combustion control below the set frequency per reference time for monitoring the frequency of the heat reserving combustion.

SOLUTION: The present hot water heater includes a control part H which controls a gas volume adjusting valve 12 to a burner 3 such that combustion of the burner 3 is started as water supply to a water heating heat exchanger 2 is started and supplied hot water temperature reaches a target temperature, and which executes ordinary combustion control of interrupting the combustion of the burner 3 as the water supply is interrupted. In this case, there is provided a hot water temperature thermistor 20 for detecting the temperature of hot water on an effluent hot water supply passage 6 or in the heat exchanger 2, and the control part H is adapted to execute temperature insulation combustion control of controlling the combustion state of the burner 3 such that in the state where the water supply is interrupted and the combustion of the burner 3 is interrupted a detected value of the hot water temperature thermistor 20 upon temperature insulation becomes an ordinary detected value of the hot water temperature thermistor 20 when there is executed control operation of the amount of combustion of the burner 3 in previous ordinary combustion control.

The control means 30 further comprises an auxiliary control section 33 provided with means 34 for setting a switching time between the normal combustion mode and the temperature keeping combustion mode, and means 35 for storing start of water supply detected by a water supply quantity sensor 7. If set conditions tar temperature keeping combustion are satisfied when hot water supply is interrupted and thereby water supply to a heat-exchanger 2 is interrupted, temperature keeping combustion of a burner 3 is started to heat the hot water in the internal hot water passage wherein the switching time to the temperature keeping combustion mode can be set previously.
