    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration control device for a detached house, which obtains a great vibration control capacity by effectively absorbing a seismic force and a strong wind force, acting on a frame of the detached house.
      SOLUTION: This vibration control device for the detached house includes a viscoelastic damper 15 which is formed by alternately superposing viscoelastic bodies 20a-20d, molded like a plate, and plate-like rigid members 21a-21e on one another and bonding superposed surfaces together, and two damper connecting implements for connecting both ends of the viscoelastic damper 15 to a reinforcing member for reinforcing the frame of the detached house. The damper connecting implement has a plurality of connecting grooves 22 for being fitted to connecting portions 211 formed at the one-side ends of the plate-like rigid members 21a-21e, respectively. The connecting portions 211 are formed on the one-side ends of the plate-like rigid members 21a-21e in such a shape as to protrude from both surfaces of the plate-like rigid members 21a-21e, respectively.
