    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instantaneous lowering compensation system that can compensate instantaneous lowering and exert a sufficient instantaneous lowering countermeasure function, even if the instantaneous lowering is repeated a number of times in a short time when the instantaneous lowering occurs at a commercial power supply side (power feeding system), while exerting a load equalization function by rated driving at a normal time, and is less in the restraint of an instantaneous lowering compensation time caused by an output. SOLUTION: The instantaneous lowering compensation system 10 equipped with a multiple-lightning measure function is of a constant commercial power feeding type, and arranged at a customer system 1 that connects a commercial power supply 8 and a load 2 connected to the commercial power supply 8. The instantaneous lowering compensation system 10 comprises: a switch 41 that has a semiconductor as a constitution component, is inserted into the customer system 1 and connects or disconnects the commercial power supply 8 and the load 2; a power storable secondary battery 3 that serves both as a power feed source for the load equalization function and as a power feed source for the instantaneous lowering compensation function; an AC-DC converter 4 that is arranged between the secondary battery 3 and the customer system 1 and can perform charge and discharge; and a temperature monitor means 7 that purposes the effective utilization of an element constituting the AC-DC converter 4.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an external failure without making wrong decision as to its being an inner one as well the an inner failure, even for a failure current in which a DC factor is superimposed, in an electric current differential protection replay system with two photocurrent sensors mounted on the both ends of a protection zone of an electric power system. SOLUTION: A first photocurrent sensor 1 and a second photocurrent sensor 2 are mounted on both ends of a protection zone 9 of an electric power system, and I/O electric currents i1 and i2 to the protection zone are obtained respectively. A light source 11, the first photocurrent sensor 1, the second photocurrent sensor 2, a first light signal processing unit 4a, and a second light information part 4b are connected with fiber optics transmission paths 3a-3d. The effective value of a power frequency factor in difference current signal from a first light information part 4a is calculated by a difference current detection means 5a, and the effective value of a power frequency element in the harmony current signal from a second light information part 4b is detected by a harmony current detection means 5b respectively, and the difference thereof is obtained with a difference operation means 6. Even if the power frequency element in the difference current signal is not less than a relay set value, a judgment mean 7 judges it as being an external accident and prevents unnecessary operation of the relay, if the output of the difference operation means 6 is below a fixed value.
