    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical function circuit capable of ensuring propagation light transmissity and extinction ratio so as to be great. SOLUTION: A self-cloning technology is employed to use a three-dimensional photonic crystal for a distribution reflecting mechanism of an optical function circuit (OADM). A selection figure indicates the distribution reflecting mechanism composed of the three-dimensional photonic crystal. Grating constants Lx1, Ly1, Lz1 of the three-dimensional photonic crystal are determined to allow an operational band of the optical function circuit to include a first energy band gap in a point X of the three-dimensional photonic crystal. Thus, transmissivity can be prevented from being reduced by variations in the number of waves of propagation light.
