    • PURPOSE:To read out the contents of an original to be transmitted only with the depression of a designating key and to transmit the contents of required items with a facsimile by registering the original as a format in an equipment relating to a user who usually transmits the same original almost everyday in the case of the normal use and using ten keys or a keyboard to record only required items. CONSTITUTION:A control panel 1 is provided with a format designating key 2 and format contents are displayed on a display device 3 at the time of depression of the key and namerals, KANJI (Chinese character), etc., can be inputted to the contents by ten keys 4 or an external keyboard and a control circuit 5 performs such control that the contents are taken out from a storage circuit 7 for format storage and a character generator 9 for KANJI and are synthesized in a memory 8 for synthesis to transmit a picture from a transmission control part 10 to a communication channel.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a reproduced picture having its contrast corrected optionally by preparing plural types of gradation characteristic curve data and designating a level range of said data for production of the gradation correction data. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 13 of a gradation correcting part 1 reads the designated gradation characteristic data out of a ROM11 based on a selection instruction to store the data into a RAM12 and also to transfer it to a control part 3. Then the CPU13 produces the gradation correction data from the data on a gradation characteristic curve in accordance with a correcting level range included in the selection instruction received from the part 3. In other words, the CPU13 performs an arithmetic operation to change an input level range (a) of a gradation characteristic curve A into a designated level range (b). Then the obtained output level data on a gradation correcting curve B corresponding to the curve A is stored in the RAM12 and at the same time sent to the part 3. The part 3 gives both input and output levels of the gradation correction data to a display part 4 to show them in the image forms. Thus the correction picture data 15 of corrected multi-gradation is obtained.
