    • PURPOSE:To reduce the maintenance management man-hour for a communication network and the installation cost by providing a line setting function, an inter-station signal processing function and a control signal transmission reception function and setting a jumper line between plural exchanges. CONSTITUTION:An inter-station line setting section ITa divides an inter-station line to units Sa1-Sai in the station and sets the result as inter-station lines ISLb1-ISLb2. Then the common line signal system is used and the control signal is sent/received between the stations, then an inter station signal processing section ICa and a control signal transfer section MIC transfer the control signal to the units Sa1-Sai in the station. Moreover, the setting of jumper lines SLI1- SLIi attended with the traffic fluctuation is realized easily by each setting condition revision of the jumper line setting section ITIa if the capacity of the lines SLI1-SLIi is not exceeded. Thus, number of management objects of the inter-station lines is less, the man-hour of the maintenance and management of the communication network is less and simplified and no division loss of the inter-station lines is caused and the installation cost is reduced.
