    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly durable optical recording medium which can be recorded and reproduced with a short wavelength laser with a wavelength of 520 to 690 nm and is suited for a high-density and rapid recording. SOLUTION: The optical recording medium is characterized in containing at least one kind of a triazolephthalocyanine metal complex compound as shown by formula (1). In the formula (1), R 1 to R 12 are each independently hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, nitro group, hydroxy group, amino group, carboxyl group, sulfonic group, a ≤20C substituted or un-substituted alkyl group, an alcoxy group, an alkylthio group, an aryloxy group, an arylthio group, an alkenyl group, an acyl group, an alcoxycarbonyl group, a carbamoyl group, an acylamino, an aralkyl group, an aryl group, a heteroaryl group; and M is a transition metal.
