CONSTITUTION:A required rotation number computer 42 computes a formulaI using an inlet flow corresponding signal (qS1+qM1), a demand source pressure measurement valve PB and a flow demand signal qDM dispatched from a boiler control unit as inputs, and outputs a required rotation number. By this, a large scale flow control of a variable rotation number pump can be done in a short time, and besides stably. In this case, NS denotes a pump rotation number, with a, b and c being fixed numbers peculiar to a pump, qP denotes an individual inlet flow of a pump, qT denotes a total feed water flow, PS denotes feed water demand source pressure and beta denotes a pressure loss coefficient.

摘要： PURPOSE:To eliminate the loss of power in a feed water control valve, by arranging a feed water pump and the feed water control valve in the feed water line for a steam prime mover and providing an open-close controller for the feed water control valve operated on the basis of a set load and a speed change gear for the feed water pump controlled on the basis of a water feed control signal. CONSTITUTION:Steam generated in a boiler 11 is consumed by performing its work in high, intermediate and low pressure turbines 12, 14, 15 and condensed by a condenser 16. In the water feed line a feed water pump 2 and a feed water control valve 4 are arranged. The feed water control valve 4 is open-close controlled by a load setter 42. A fluid coupling 35 that controls a rotational speed of the feed water pump 2 is controlled by signals from a main steam flow rate detector 31, level detector 32 of the boiler 11 and a feed water flow rate detector 27. In this way, because the feed water flow rate is controlled by changing the speed of ratation of the feed water pump 2, a pressure loss in the water feed control valve 4 can be decreased.
