      SOLUTION: Saturated steam is supplied into the heating chamber preheated above 100°C, and temperature change in the heating chamber, through which the temperature of the heating chamber recovers to the initial preheated temperature, is detected and judged. Stopping of the heating is thus controlled in accordance with a kind of food.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To instantly verify ignition and to verify combustion until red heat on the surface of an upstream side begins after shifting to catalyst combustion by providing an ignition means at the downstream side of a catalyst body, a red heat member near the downstream surface, and the red heat member at a position that can be viewed from the front of a device. SOLUTION: A premixed air reaching a combustion gas exhaust port 10 from a combustion gas chamber 8 via the connection hole of a catalyst body 6 is ignited due to the energization of ignition equipment 7 at the start of combustion. Flame formed near the combustion gas exhaust port 10 instantly spreads and is formed on the downstream surface of the catalyst body 6, and a red heat member 9 being heated by the flame rapidly starts red heat. The red heat of the red heat member 9 is extinguished immediately before starting red heat of the surface at the upstream side of the catalyst body 6 where the catalyst combustion in the catalyst body 6 becomes active, thus almost continuously enabling an operator to verify combustion from the formation of flame on the downstream surface of the catalyst body 6 to the start of red heat on the surface at the upstream side of the catalyst body 6.
