    • PURPOSE:To obtain a jig with little wear, hard to cause a flaw or a crack on a glass and giving no deterioration in insulating character at a junction portion by forming supporting members of a panel glass and a funnel glass with a formed body of a mixture consisting of mica powder, talcum powder, boric acid and zinc oxide. CONSTITUTION:Supporting members 13-16 attached to a jig main body 25 are formed successively by filling a metal mold with, for an example, a powdered mixture consisting of mica 20.0wt%, talcum 45.0wt%, ortho boric acid 16.3wt%, boric anhydride 3.7wt% and zinc oxide 15.0wt%, forming the mixture by heating and pressurizing at a temperature of 170 deg.C-180 deg.C and a pressure of 60-100kg/ cm , and subjecting thus formed product to a heat treatment at 500 deg.C. Accordingly, a jig with less wear than that of graphite or boron nitride, giving no flaw or crack to a panel glass 1 and a funnel glass 2 and also giving no deterioration in insulating character of the portion where a powdered body like graphite is mixed into soldering glass can be obtained at a low cost.

    • PURPOSE:To prepare the insulator, in a good workability, with an excellency of electrical and mechanical performance, by means of processing a layer-building of the insulator, obtained through a forming of thermal working pressurization, with an air-permeability-provided material, further with a heating and a pressurization processed. CONSTITUTION:Between junction surfaces of glass cloth or glass mat base material, is evenly dispersed and interposed a binding material, being composed of a mixed material from zinc oxide and calcium oxide (I) or (II) and boric acid or being composed of a mixed material with a powder of thermohardening resin further added, with a layer-built unit obtained. Subsequently, said layer-built unit is heated to a temperature of 150 to 200 deg.C and pressurized to a pressure of 30 to 300 kg/cm , then with a pressurization released for a prescribed length of time (for instance, 20 sec.) under a condition with the above mentioned temperature maintained, thereafter, a pressurization is again operated at the above described pressure, then with a cooling processed as made remaining in a pressurized condition. Subsequently, a plurality of sheets of the above described layer-built unit, obtainee by the above described process, and air-permeability-provided materials like a net pattern metal mat are alternately made layer building, with a final treatment processed at a heating temperature of 180 to 250 deg.C at a pressure of 20 to 200kg/cm .
