摘要： PURPOSE:To control the heating of a carburetor due to radiant heat in a muffler with a simple structure by installing a muffler cover which conducts a flow of engine cooling exhaust out of a cowling cover to a peripheral surface of the muffler. CONSTITUTION:Engine cooling air drawn in by a fan 16 set up on the upside of an engine 6 is fed to a cylinder head 6a and a carburetor 20 by a cowling cover 19. A muffler 7 is installed in and around the lower part of this carburetor 20. In addition, a muffler cover 24 is provided to conduct the engine cooling air from the cowling cover 19 to a peripheral surface of the muffler 7 in a state that the carburetor 20 and the muffler 7 are vertically partitioned off. In succession, the engine cooling air fed to the carburetor 20 is conducted to the outside of a bonnet 8 by way of an air path along a top surface of the muffler cover 24 for its flowing out. Thus, any heating in the carburetor due to radiant heat in the muffler is controllable with a simple structure.
