摘要： PURPOSE:To improve durability of carbon-containing unburned refractory brick by blending specific amounts of Al2O3 raw material, MgO raw material, C raw material, ZrO2 raw material, thermosetting resin and, if necessary, antioxidant and glass forming material, molding and heat-treating. Further the blend is mixed with 3-30wt.% SiC as an antioxidant, 1-10wt.% (outer percentage) at least one or more of metallic powder such as Al, various kinds of carbonate, nitride and boride except SiC and 0.5-5wt.% (outer percentage) glass forming raw material such as refractory clay. Then the blend is molded, heat-treated in a nonoxidizing atmosphere at 150-600 deg.C to give carbon-containing unburned refractory brick.

摘要： PURPOSE:To shorten an applying time, make the cut of joint hard and improve a resistance to corrosion by a method wherein the powder of refractory is forced into a place to be filled, such as a gap between a tuyere and a nozzle member or a cracked part in an industrial furnace for example, while extracting air in the place. CONSTITUTION:A supporting tool 3 is inserted into a tuyere 1 from the outside of a vessel and a pressing plate 32 is inserted from the inside of the vessel in a condition that a bolt 33 is inserted into a nozzle member 2, then, a nut 35, screwed to the bolt 33 from the tip end thereof, is tightened to attached the nozzle member 2 to the tuyere together with the supporting tool 3. Thereafter, the powder of dry type amorphous refractory, mixed with binder, is forced by an injection machine 6 through a hose 8 connected to a joint unit 36. An injection port 34, communicated with the joint unit 36, is positioned near the internal periphery of the turyere 1 and, therefore, a gap formed between the nozzle member 2 and the tuyere 1 is filled with the injected powder of refractory while air is pushed out of a venting valve 9 attached to a valve mounting unit 37. The powder of refractory is filled by the pressure of the injector 6 and is solidified so as to have a predetermined strength.
