SOLUTION: To eliminate failure to generate oil pressure designated by an oil pump 80 due to reduction of an engine rotation number by controlling line pressure in accordance with oil balance of the oil pump 80 based on the engine rotation number and oil temperature by a pulley pressure control part 202 in either case of selected determination between detection of change from a drive range into a non-drive range or from the non-drive range to the drive range and a lapse of prescribed time, and detection of the non-drive range. Ratio of the line pressure in accordance with the oil balance to the line pressure to be designated is multiplied by secondary pressure, and the secondary pressure is controlled based on the obtained value. When the secondary pressure hydraulic sensor is also broken, the PLpri torque capacity is read from the map with a secondary pressure target value as the secondary pressure in step 105.
