    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic measuring apparatus for the concentration of chlorine capable of inexpensively and automatically measuring the concentration of chlorine in the gas used in a gas corrosion test with a high precision. SOLUTION: A gas being an object to be measured is absorbed by a sodium thiosulfate aqueous solution to be reacted with sodium thiosulfate and a potassium iodide aqueous solution is subsequently added to the sodium thiosulfate aqueous solution. Then, an electrolytic current is allowed to flow through the mixed solution and electrolytic voltage is applied to the solution to electrolyze the solution.
