摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the red color part of a reproduced picture from becoming abnormally bright at the time of low color temperature by outputting to made to be a brightness signal gamma-corrected at a gamma coefficient smaller than a normal one at the time of low color temperature. CONSTITUTION:The color temperature of the circumference light of an object is detected, and the brightness signal controlled according to a detected result and gamma-corrected at the coefficient corresponding to the picture tube of a television receiver normally is outputted. And at the time of low color temperature, means 9-11 outputting the brightness signal gamma-corrected at the small coefficient are provided. That is, at the time of low color temperature, the brightness signal is gamma-corrected more suppressingly than usual. Therefore, in the picture tube, the level of the brightness signal is suppressed by its gamma characteristic. Thus, the brightness level of the red color part in the reproduced picture at the time of low color temperature is suppressed, and unnaturalness is eliminated.
