CONSTITUTION:When an IC memory card 32 is connected to a card reader/ writer 10, whether the life time data of a battery 44 is stored to registers 36, 38 and 40 or not is decided. When the time data are stored, the contents of the respective registers are read. A using start time TS and a life time TB are read from the register 36. A back-up unnecessary time TU is fetched from the register 38. Next, a present time TR is fetched from a present time timer 18 and the operation of TR-TS-TU is executed. The operated time and a time, which subtracts the period of grace alpha from the life time TB of the battery, are compared and the usable time of the battery is obtained.

摘要： PURPOSE:To make the system constitution inexpensive by allowing a reset signal generating circuit and a maintenance controller provided in a transmission controller of the system connected in loop to output a reset data for a host controller onto a transmission loop. CONSTITUTION:A transmission controller 2 is connected by a transmission loop 1 and a host controller 3 or a maintenance controller 4 is connected via the controller 2. A data on a loop 1 is converted into a signal level for a transmission control microcomputer 14 by a transmission data converting circuit 5 and fetched to the microcomputer 14 via a bus line 9. In case of a reset data for a fetched data device 3, a decoder circuit 6 is operated to generate a clock signal to be given to the latch circuit 7. The circuit 7 latches a reset data on a bus line 12 and gives it to a reset terminal of a host microcomputer 10 of the device 3. Thus, the device is reset individually or simultaneously easily so as to make the system constitution inexpensive.
