摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device which does not require a pad dedicated to burn-in in spite of having a wafer burn-in supporting function. SOLUTION: A pad, where a circuit which is intrinsically not operated when a wafer is burn-in treated, performs an additional function as a pad for stress voltage application when burn-in treatment is conducted without providing a pad dedicated to apply stress voltage when a wafer burn-in treatment is conducted. For example, a VSS pad 20, which feeds earth voltage to a column address buffer circuit 15 which is put in the state of operation only when operated under a normal conduction on a DRAM, is used as a stress voltage application pad when a burn-in treatment is conducted. As a result, the area of chip is reduced and the chip acquisition rate per sheet of wafer can be improved. Also, a wafer burn-in supporting function can be added without greatly changing design and manufacturing process for the existing integrated circuit.
