摘要： PURPOSE:To provide an electromagnetic flow coupler whose performance does not deteriorate even to a range where the flow speed is high. CONSTITUTION:In an electromagnetic flow coupler, which comprises a plurality of flow passages 1 and 2 arranged in parallel, an electric conductor 5 surrounding these passages 1 and 2 and circulating a current, and a magnet 8 arranged opposite outside the electric conductor 5, with these passages 1 and 2 between, the magnetic field generated by this magnet 8 is distorted by the magnetic field generated secondarily by a current 6. This distortion works to intensifies the magnetic field, in the vicinity of the end of the magnetic field by the magnet 8 and besides in the direction of the downstream of the fluid (the passage 1 on generator side) driven from outside, so this distorted magnetic field can be utilized effectively by so arranging the electric conductor 5 as to jut out of the magnet 8 along the passages 1 and 2. As a result, the efficiency as the electromagnetic flow coupler becomes high, and besides the higher the flow speed is, the larger the distortion of the magnetic field is, so this effect also becomes larger.
