    • PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a noise by evading the separation of projection parts of two bodies of revolution by permitting elastic force to operate in a circumferential direction by arranging a spring in a gap between both the projections. CONSTITUTION:In a gap formed between noncontacting surfaces 18b and 20b of the projection part 18 of a driving-shaft side body of revolution and the projection part 20 of a driven-shaft side body of revolution, a spring 44 having stronger elastic force than acceleration torque operating upon a driven shaft is provided so that its elastic force operates in a circumferential direction. Consequently, even if the acceleration torque operates upon the driven shaft, both the projection parts 18 and 20 in contact sandwiching the pawl part 22b of a moving member 22 never separate from each other, and the generation of a noise is therefore prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the operating force of a plunger by arranging an operation member in contact with a projection part so that the partial force of torque generated there operates. CONSTITUTION:At the engagement part of a driving-shaft side body 10 of revolution and a driven-shaft side body 12 of revolution, a plunger 24 having a slanting part 24a atop is arranged opposedly to a projection part 20 having an arc part with a prescribed radius (r) while crossing a straight line (l), connecting the center of the projection part 20 and the rotation center of a shaft, at a prescribed angle alpha. In this case, the tip slanting part 24a of the plunger 24 is set at a prescribed angle beta to the axial center of the plunger 24.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce machining cost, by setting rotary bodies to driving and driven shafts respectively and putting an axially movable member between pawls which are opposed to the rotary bodies. CONSTITUTION:A pawl 9A, formed on the first rotary body 9 which is an integral part of a driving shaft 2, is engaged with another pawl 11A of the second rotary body 11 as an integral part of a driven shaft 3 through a movable member 10. This member 10 is composed of a rod type portion 10A between both pawls 9A, 11A and an annular portion 10B, and is axially moved by a piston 16 surrounding it through a thrust bearing 18. The piston 16 is fitted to the stationary side of the driving shaft 2 through a radial bearing 20, so that it does not follow the revolution, and is guided by a case 17. The piston 16 is also axially moved by changing flows in passage 21A, 21B through a control valve 22A and a feedback signal from a position detector 19 is returned to the control valve 22A.
