    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a coating film, which can more easily form a thick film than a conventional method. SOLUTION: The method for producing the coating film comprises the steps of: decreasing or removing an oxide formed on the surface of a raw powder for the coating film, which has the oxide formed on its surface; and forming the film by colliding the raw powder of the coating film from which the oxide has been decreased or removed, with an object to be coated thereon. A technique to be preferably used when the coating film is formed is a cold spray technique or a high-velocity flame spraying technique in which a temperature of a combusted gas is set at a melting point of the raw powder for the coating film or lower.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust core that fully suppresses noise without increasing the content of insulating material for improved mechanical hardness and strength. SOLUTION: A dust core 10 contains large-diameter soft magnetic metal powders with a weight average particle diameter d w1 ranging from 20 μm to 100 μm and small-diameter soft magnetic metal powders with a minimum particle diameter smaller than 20 μm and a weight average particle diameter d w2 smaller than 20 μm. In addition, magnetic powders containing small-diameter soft magnetic metal powders of 10-80% by weight are coated by the insulating material and bonding agent and then press-molded and hardened in a predetermined form, so that noise under excitation due to an AC magnetic field can be fully suppressed without increasing the content of insulating material to increase mechanical hardness and strength.
